1. Nature of Treatment

I understand that Homoeopathy is a safe complementary system of medicine and it works gently to stimulate the body’s own healing power.

I understand that Katie Biggs is not a GMC‑registered medical doctor.

In Homoeopathy, like any other system of medicine, cure can never be guaranteed.

I understand that there is no recommendation to stop, reduce, or alter any medication prescribed by a GP or consultant. Any decision to do so remains my own responsibility.

2. Lawful Basis for Data Processing (GDPR)

Your personal and health‑related information is processed for the purpose of providing safe, appropriate homeopathic treatment.

Legal basis:

• GDPR Article 6(1)(b) – performance of a contract

• GDPR Article 9(2)(h) – provision of health‑related care

3. Data Storage

Your information is stored securely in password‑protected digital files and/or locked physical files. Only the practitioner (Katie Biggs) has access to identifiable information. Case discussions with colleagues for supervision are anonymous.

4. Data Retention

• Adult records: 7 years after last appointment

• Children’s records: 7 years after turning 18

5. Your GDPR Rights

You may request:

• Access to your data

• Correction

• Deletion (where legally permissible)

• Restriction of processing

• Objection to processing

• A portable copy of your data
